iOS fans aren’t the only ones with shiny new hardware to preorder today, because now Google has begun accepting preorders for two of its new Nexus devices.
The HTC Nexus 9 in now available for preorder from the Google Play store. Its pricing is set at $399 for the 16GB model and $479 for the 32GB unit, and customers can order either a black or white unit. Units will leave Google's warehouse in "2-3 weeks." Google says that the 32GB LTE and Sand color models will be available “later this year.” Here’s the spec list that HTC and Google’s new tablet has to offer:
Google is also now taking preorders for the Nexus Player, the new Android TV device that’s made by ASUS. Pricing for the Nexus Player is set at $99, which gets you both the Nexus Player itself, a remote and a $20 Google Play credit. A game controller is available for an additional $39.99. Both the Nexus Player and the Gamepad for Nexus Player are expected to leave Google's warehouse in "3-4 weeks." The Nexus Player’s feature set is as follows:
What about the Motorola-made Nexus 6, you ask? Google says that its new Nexus smartphone will be available for preorder starting October 29, with in-store launches coming in November.
