Last month the OnePlus crew expanded the accessory selection for its One smartphone with the Silver Bullet Earphones, which feature a brushed aluminum casing and in-line mic with remote. Apparently OnePlus felt that offering one pair of earphones wasn’t enough, though, as the company today debuted another pair.
The OnePlus JBL E1+ Earphones are a collaboration between OnePlus and JBL, a well-known audio firm. The ‘phones have 9mm JBL drivers with PureBass tech that OnePlus says offers “maximized sound.” Also included is a flat, tangle-resistant cable, in-line three button remote, microphone and angled eartubes that come in multiple sizes.
OnePlus says that the OnePlus JBL E1+ Earphones will go on sale in October. Pricing is set at $39.99, which is $25 more than the aforementioned Silver Bullet Earphones. The nitty-gritty specs for the OnePlus JBL E1+ Earphones are:
The OnePlus JBL E1+ Earphones appear to be a bit more premium than the Silver Bullet Earphones that debuted at the tail-end of September. Not only are they created in collaboration with JBL, but they’ve got a wider frequency range than the Silver Bullets and also have a flat cable that should resist tangles when you toss them in your bag or pocket. We’ll have to wait until they go on sale before we find out exactly how they sound, but the good news is that with October almost halfway over, we won’t have to wait too long to stick ‘em in our ears.
