Hot on the heels of leaks that showed that Motorola may be prepping a 64GB version of the Moto X, the company has made a different Moto Maker customization option official.
Motorola today added Rosewood to its natural back cover options for the Moto X. Interestingly, this new rear panel replaces Walnut, which was one of the original four natural finishes available when they launched back in January. The Rosewood finish is $25, the same as the other natural backs.
It’s worth noting that Rosewood was one of the original four wood backings that we learned about way back in August 2013. It’s not clear exactly why Motorola has replaced Walnut with the Rosewood finish, but hey, I’m not one to complain about getting a new customization option for the Moto X.
What do you think of this new Rosewood finish?
