Just as promised, Verizon is now selling its version of the Motorola Moto G. The prepaid device is available from Verizon's website for $99.99 and free two-day shipping. Verizon has previously said that the Moto G will make its way into retail stores sometime in the coming weeks.
When it comes time to select a plan for Verizon's shiny new Moto G, customers will have two options to choose from. The cheaper of the two is a $60 plan that includes unlimited talk and text as well as 2GB of data. Stepping up to the $70 plan will double the monthly data allotment to 4GB.
Even though the Moto G is technically one of Verizon's pricier prepaid smartphones, it's by far the most high-end handset available in that group thanks to its 4.5-inch 720p display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 2070mAh battery. It's also worth noting that while the Verizon Moto G comes with Android 4.3 preinstalled, it will receive an update to Android 4.4. The Verizon Moto G's one downfall is that it's a 3G-only device, but considering the rest of its spec sheet and its $99.99 no-contract price, it's tough to complain too much about that aspect of the device.
Overall the Verizon Moto G is a pretty awesome deal for anyone that's already a Verizon prepaid customer or has been thinking about taking the prepaid plunge. If you've already got your credit card out and are ready to buy, you can snag a Verizon Moto G of your own right here.
