Hope you're not full from yesterday's late night Nexus 5 snack, because this morning the rumor mill has served up some more Nexus 5 leaky goodness for breakfast. This time we're looking at what's said to be the Nexus 5's packaging, courtesy of a post on UNDERkg that's since disappeared. The box looks fairly similar to the one used with the new Nexus 7, complete with a blue background and Google logo in the lower right corner. The difference here is that this packaging features the Nexus 5.
This isn't just any Nexus 5, though, folks. The model shown on this box is a white version of the N5, and just as with past white Nexus smartphones, the pale hue is only present on the phone's backside. The other side of the packaging includes a better look at the phone's white rear cover as well as some "Nexus 5" branding.
Google has offered a white version of the past three entries in its Nexus smartphone line, so it wouldn't be a surprise if the company continued that tradition with a white Nexus 5. What would be interesting is if the white Nexus 5 launched alongside the black model. Previous white Nexuses have been released well after the black version hit shelves, so it'd certainly be a welcome change for Google to kick off sales of both the black and white versions at the same time.
