The HTC DROID DNA made a move up the charts this week with our mobile tech experts and the people. The device had a two position jump up to third with our experts because of things like the "screen really is one of the best I've seen" it's "great design", and a "1080p display and slimmer 5-inch frame". Check out these quotes from our three highlighted experts below along with the rest of their rankings.

I decied this week to shake up my list a bit. While my number 1 & 2 remain the same with it being the GS3 and the GN II. I've included the DROID DNA which has a great design and keeps the phone still a smartphone even with the 5 inch display. The Lumia 920 is one of the best Windows Phone devices available today and the HTC 8X comes as the 2nd best Windows Phone available and rounds out the top 5.

My rankings are pretty much the same as weeks before, however I did let the DROID DNA sneak its way up a few more spots. The iPhone 5 still sits as the #1 phone because of its beautiful design and flawless ecosystem. It integrates with OS X and uses iCloud to sync content seamlessly, and is perfect for the veteran or newbie smartphone user. The Nexus 4 offers the best Android experience by far. With stock Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and a much improved design when compared to its plastic, Samsung made predecessor. Android has come a long way, and this phone shows that off. The DROID DNA surpassed the Lumia 920 and the 8X for one major reason: the 1080p 5' display. I had some more time to use it and concluded that the screen really is one of the best I've seen. It is crystal clear, and I thought it was deserving of a higher ranking. Sense 4 is still too much, and if it was toned down (or better yet, just left as stock Android) then it would be a much cleaner experience. The Windows Phone 8 devices sit at #4 and #5 with the 8X and Lumia 920. Both are fantastically built, and each has its respective pros and cons. I personally prefer the 8X simply because I've always been more fond of HTC devices, however it is a close race, as the Lumia 920 has a fantastic camera. Either of these is a great choice if you want to go the WP8 route.
