Heads up, Nexus S owners. Google has announced on its official Nexus Google+ account that it's begun rolling out Android 4.1 to Nexus S models "on a number of carriers," including T-Mobile. Also included in the rollout is Rogers, H3G, O2 and Vodafone in most countries. Don't fret if your carrier isn't on that list, as Google says that more carriers are coming.
It was just last week that Google began pushing Jelly Bean to HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus models, so it's nice to see the Nexus S get its own bump to Android 4.1 so soon after the latest Nexus. There's no mention of exactly when Nexus S devices on other carriers (like Sprint and its Nexus S 4G) will be getting their own taste of Jelly Bean, but here's to hoping it's soon. As for you T-Mobile folk, don't be too alarmed if you don't get this update today, as these rollouts are usually spread out over a number of days.
