Right on schedule, U.S. Cellular has begun accepting pre-orders for its version of the Samsung Galaxy S III. The carrier is offering both the 16GB model in both Pebble Blue and Marble White for $199.99 with a two-year contract and $100 mail-in rebate, and there's also the 32GB version available in Marble White for $249.99 with a contract and $100 MIR. U.S. Cellular has said that the Galaxy S III will be launching in July, but hasn't yet provided an exact date on which the phone will begin landing on shelves.
U.S. Cellular has offered versions of Samsung's previous two Galaxy S phones, so it's good to see that trend continuing with the Galaxy S III, especially considering that USCC is getting the device not long after its international debut. It's also worth noting that the Galaxy S III will be compatible with U.S. Cellular's LTE network, which is currently live in markets in states like Maine, Oklahoma and Wisconsin and is expected to cover 54 percent of U.S. Cellular subscribers by the end of 2012. So now that pre-orders are finally live, who's plunking down the cash for a Galaxy S III on U.S. Cellular?
