Heads up, Sprint Galaxy Nexus owners. Sprint has announced a new update for its version of the Galaxy Nexus that includes a fix for that nasty bug that'd prevent some devices from getting a data connection. The update is software version FD02 and is available starting today. Sprint says that FD02 will be pushed to all devices within a 1-2 day period and that owners experiencing data connectivity issues will need to be connected to Wi-Fi to receive the new software. Anyone that's not having data connection issues won't need to be connected to Wi-Fi to receive the update. It's also worth noting that, starting the week of May 17th, Sprint stores will have FD02 available to update devices. Here's the FD02 changelog:

It may not be a huge update, but FD02 is kind of important for anyone that's having issues connecting their Galaxy Nexus to Sprint's data services. Good on Sprint for responding to the data connectivity issue quickly and getting a fix out just a few days later. If you've got a Sprint Galaxy Nexus, be sure to keep an eye out for this new update. And for those of you having problems connecting to data, be sure to try and stay close to Wi-Fi for the next day or two. (Although if you were unable to get a data connection, you were probably sticking to Wi-Fi as much as possible anyway.)
