Ready for a new addition to the DROID RAZR family? If some new photo EXIF data is to be believed, we may soon be getting one. Some images recently uploaded to Picasa contained EXIF data from a device made by Motorola with the name "DROID RAZR HD" along with details like a f/2.4 aperture and a possible "Vanquish" codename. The data also lists "4.0.3" in the software section, suggesting that Ice Cream Sandwich is on board. The photos were uploaded by a user known as Vic Yu, someone whose Google+ and LinkedIn profiles name as a Motorola Mobility engineer, The Verge found.
This isn't the first time that we've seen details on a new Motorola handset potentially revealed by some EXIF data, as we got wind of the DROID RAZR MAXX in the same way back in December. Of course, EXIF information can be altered fairly easily, and just because the name "DROID RAZR HD" has appeared in photo data doesn't guarantee that such a device actually exists. Considering how Motorola has been more than happy to churn out new DROIDs lately and the fact that many Android manufacturers (Moto included) are busy releasing devices with HD displays, though, a DROID RAZR HD is certainly a possibility. It's also worth noting that a Verizon-branded Motorola handset leaked out last month and was said to feature a 4.6-inch HD display, so there's a chance that today's leak is associated with that device. Stay tuned!
