The launch date of the Verizon Galaxy Nexus has been one of the hottest topics in mobile as of late, no doubt thanks at least in part to the fact that there have been more release rumors than we care to count. Today we've got another possible date to add to the pile, as Twitter user @TechFanatix has posted an image showing that the Galaxy Nexus may be set to launch on December 8th, a date that's supported by a rumor from earlier this week that claimed that the Nexus had been pushed to next month. The photo also mentions that Nexus accessories have begun making their way to stores this week, which we learned earlier today is indeed the case.
So might this be The Day of the Nexus? It's definitely a possibility, though considering how many different launch rumors we've heard so far, I doubt even Verizon would be willing to say with certainty whether or not we'll be able to buy a Galaxy Nexus on the 8th. Still, it's another date to keep in mind, and with a November 21st release looking pretty unlikely at this moment, I'd say that December 8th has taken the postion of frontrunner in the Nexus rumor race. Stay tuned.
