Time to cross another mystery off the list. It seems that a new HP tablet has been spotted passing through the FCC, and as you can see up above, the device in question carries the name "TouchPad Go." We originally saw that name pop up in a list of HP trademark filings back in mid-June. And after webOSroundup forum member "twbbas" took some measurements and did some math, it's been revealed that we're looking at HP's 7-inch Opal tablet. The FCC filing doesn't reveal much in the way of specs, but it does show that the TouchPad Go will come in four different flavors: Wi-Fi-only and HSPA+ with 16 and 32GB variants of each, and one of which will likely be destined for AT&T.
Obviously there's still a lot we don't know about HP's 7-inch TouchPad Go, not only in terms of feature set but also when it comes to availability details. A leaked document from way back in March showed that HP was planning to launch a 7-inch tablet in September, although there's always a chance that that could've changed by now. If that September release window does hold true, though, we should be hearing more about the Go in the next few weeks. Any of you folks think you'd be interested in picking up the 10-inch TouchPad's little brother?
