Itching to get your hands on a WiMAX-compatible Nexus S? You may not be waiting much longer, if a recently-leaked Sprint internal calendar is to be believed. The image you see above was just slipped under Engadget's door, showing that employee training for the Motorola XOOM, Nexus S 4G, and Google Voice could kick off as soon as April 25th. Training for GV won't last long, though, because according to an image sent to Android Central, it looks as though Sprint's Google Voice integration will launch on the 26th. So when will the XOOM and Nexus S 4G be released? Things are still a tad hazy, but the folks at Engadget think that we could see both devices arrive in early May, a couple of weeks after training kicks off.
Although both the XOOM and Nexus S are already available on other carriers, and have been for a while, the two devices could still see a good deal of success on Sprint, especially the Nexus. After all, the Nexus One was originally slated to arrive on Sprint and Verizon but were ultimately canned, so the Nexus S 4G will be the first "pure Google" device on a CDMA carrier. If the XOOM and Nexus S 4G are indeed launching in the next few weeks, we should be hearing more soon, so keep your browser locked to PhoneDog.
