While Virgin Mobile's Android offerings haven't been bad for a prepaid carrier, it's safe to say that they haven't had much that appeals to those of us that prefer our phones a little more on the high-end. That may be changing soon, though, if a recent customer survey is to be believed. As you can see in the image above, Virgin Mobile has been considering a device with the following features: 4.1-inch 800x480 display, Snapdragon CPU, 5 megapixel camera, HDMI output, and Android 2.2.

There's no indication when, or even if, this handset would actually hit shelves or which company would make it, but it'd be great to see Virgin Mobile put out such a powerful device. Sure, it may not sport a bleeding edge Tegra 2 processor, but this mystery phone would certainly be head and shoulders above the Intercept and Optimus V spec-wise. Best of all? Virgin Mobile doesn't deal in contracts, meaning we could potentially be getting this Snapdragon-powered, Froyo phone without signing away two years of our mobile lives. Make it happen, VM!
