Up until now, we didn't know much about the HTC DROID Incredible 2 except that it may end up looking like the device pictured above. While we still don't really have any sort of spec information on the DInc 2, a new rumor about its launch date has emerged. According to a tipster speaking to Phone Arena, the Incredible 2 could arrive some time in the first quarter of this year, and that it'll be bringing the Samsung 4G LTE and HTC ThunderBolt with it. In Q2, the source claims that we can expect the BlackBerry Monaco (Storm 3) and Montana (Bold Touch). Also allegedly landing in the second quarter is the LG Revolution and the Motorola DROID Bionic (Moto has already said that the Bionic will be coming in late Q2).
The most surprising part of this rumor has to be the claim that the DROID Incredible 2 is coming some time before the end of March. When we first head about the Incredible's successor, it was speculated that the device would arrive in April or May since the original model came at the tail end of April 2010. I would be surprised to see the DInc 2 launch this quarter, but hey, I certainly wouldn't complain if it did. As for the BlackBerry devices, they're both said to be arriving a little earlier than on this leaked roadmap we saw recently, but we have heard that Sprint will be getting the same two devices in Q2, so perhaps that roadmap was just a little outdated. Considering how long it's been since we saw a genuinely new 'Berry on Big Red, I hope that the Q2 date is correct.
