We've seen plenty of evidence lately that points to a late February launch for HTC's ThunderBolt on Verizon, but the exact date that it'll arrive has been a mystery. That's not the case any longer, if a source speaking with Android Guys is to be believed, as they claim that the TBolt is going to land on February 24th. No solid word on how much it'll cost, but a $250 price tag is looking likely.
Verizon is known for releasing phones on Thursdays (for example, the iPhone 4 is coming on Feb. 10th), and when you combine that knowledge with the late February launch rumors we've heard before, a Feb. 24th release makes sense. I won't be shocked if the ThunderBolt arrives at a price of $250, but I'm hoping that we see it discounted by other retailers shortly after launch. With the news that the dual-core Atrix 4G could cost as little as $150 from Amazon and Costco, a $250 ThunderBolt could be a little hard to swallow.
