Jet Blue recently announced they will be adding free in-flight Wifi service on December 11th; albeit with no real internet access other than IM and Yahoo email (without attachments). The good news is that American Airlines and Virgin America both plan to offer a similar service on their Boeing 767-200 planes via a company called AirCell.
Even though no exact pricing information has been released, AA passengers not members of the 'Admiral Club' can expect to pay around $10 per day for the service. There is no word on if and when full internet service will be available on flights or how fast the connection will be, but we do know AirCell will block all Voip calls except for the crew and air marshals.
