Yes, but just make sure the phone is compatible with your carrier.  Both companies use CDMA technology, but each phone is specifically configure via serial number to only work with Sprint or Verizon, not both.  If the phone comes with a box, the box will specifically be labeled with the Sprint, Verizon, or appropriate carriers logo.
