The new T-Mobile myTouch may not have an official launch date other than "in time for the holidays" just yet (we've heard early next month), but that doesn't mean we can't benchmark the thing and geek out over its scores.  As you can see in the somewhat blurry video above, the myTouch manages a Quadrant score of around 1,903, besting a Nexus One running Froyo.  If you prefer style over speed, we've got you covered there, too.  The myTouch will be available in black, plum, red, or white when it launches, and you can see each color variant in the photo below.

I don't know about you, but I think the myTouch has the potential to be quite a hit when it finally lands.  It's obviously got the speed, both with its processor and its HSPA+ capabilities, that many power users are salivating for.  Along with that speed, the myTouch is slim and stylish, and comes in several different colors that should appeal to just about anyone.  Once the myTouch finally does arrive, I'll be interested in seeing how it compares to the G2 in terms of sales.  Which would you choose?

UPDATE: Our friends over at TmoNews just keep the myTouch goodness coming.  This time, they snagged some images of the device booting up in the wild.  Interestingly, it refers to itself as the "myTouch 4G" in the boot sequence.  Makes sense, I suppose, since its predecessor was the myTouch 3G.  Check out a photo below, and many more over at TmoNews!
