Considering that Radio Shack (or The Shack, depending on your personal preference) sells AT&T products and services, it's no surprise that the AT&T Palm Pre Plus is en-route to the electronics retailer. As a refresher, the Palm Pre Plus offers 16 GB of internal storage, a 3.1-inch touchscreen display, webOS, and a full QWERTY keyboard. No word on pricing (at the time of this writing, it's not on Radio Shack's website) just yet, but I'd wager a guess around the $149.99 range.
Though I think AT&T's Pre Plus is a bit overpriced given Verizon's low pricing and free Mobile Hotspot offering, I've always loved webOS. While the Pre/Pre Plus build is a bit outdated, I think there's a great deal of potential behind the OS, should HP/Palm decide to continue development post-merger. Count me in the group that's anxiously awaiting an HP touchscreen smartphone sporting a 4-inch touchscreen and webOS. Who's with me?
