The past couple of years, OnePlus has launched two versions of its new flagship smartphone: a regular and a "Pro". A new report says that next year we'll get a third variant.
There will reportedly be three models in the OnePlus 9 series: a regular 9, a 9E, and a 9 Pro. That's according to Max Jambor, who has been the source of several OnePlus leaks in the past. Jambor says that OnePlus is aiming to offer a device at every price point.
Unfortunately, there's not much known about this heretofore unknown OnePlus 9E. It's unclear what kind of specs it might have or where in the OnePlus 9 lineup it'll slot in at. The name seems to hint that it could be a more affordable version of the regular OnePlus 9 flagship, slotting in somewhere between the OnePlus Nord and the OnePlus 9.
Recent leaks have suggested that the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro designs could look similar to the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro but with 8T-style camera bumps. The OnePlus 9 series is expected to be announced in March.
