A new month means new Android security updates, and the May 2020 builds are starting to roll out today.
Google has released the May 2020 Android security update for the Pixel 2, Pixel 3, Pixel 3a, and Pixel 4 series phones. Here are the build numbers you'll be looking for:
In addition to this over the air rollout, Google is offering factory images and OTA images of the new update so that you can sideload it if you'd like.
Google's Android security bulletin says that this update includes patches for vulnerabilities related to the framework, media framework, and system. The Pixel update also includes security patches for vulnerabilities related to the kernel components, Qualcomm components, and Qualcomm closed-source components.
Google normally lists the functional patches that are included in its monthly Pixel updates, but there aren't any listed yet.
