One week after Apple last rolled out an iOS 13.4 beta update, another release is available.
iOS 13.4 beta 5 has been released by Apple today. The update is available to developers, who can grab it over the air or through Apple's Developer Center on the web. A public beta for folks in the Apple Beta Software Program should be available in the coming days.
Included in iOS 13.4 is an updated Mail app that moves the delete button farther away from the reply button so that you don't accidentally delete your messages when you're trying to reply to them. There are now folder and compose buttons added, too.
Apple has added nine new Animoji and Memoji stickers in the iOS 13.4 update which you can see below. There are new controls for calls and third-party navigation apps in CarPlay as well. Speaking of cars, a new CarKey API hints at the ability to lock, unlock, and start your car using your iPhone over NFC.
Other notable features of iOS 13.4 include new keyboard shortcuts for the Photos app as well as new Settings in the TV app that'll give you more controls over streaming and downloading over Wi-Fi and cellular connections, including a data saver mode for those times when you need to conserve your cellular data.
Finally, code in iOS 13.4 hints at an over the air OS recovery feature that would enable you to restore an iPhone or iPad without having to connect it to a computer. With rumors of a completely portless iPhone coming, that's one feature that could come in handy.
