Along with that new feature drop, Google today released a new security update for Pixel phones.
The March 2020 Android security patches are now rolling out to Google's Pixel phones. If you don't feel like waiting for the OTA update to hit, Google does offer factory images and OTA images for you to manually flash.
Google says that its March 2020 security update fixes vulnerabilities related to the framework, media framework, and system. There's also a a Google Play system update related to media codecs.
There's a long list of functional patches for Pixel phones included in the March 2020 update, too. For example, Google says that it fixes a bug that caused static noise during audio capture on the Pixel 2, Pixel 3, Pixel 3a, and Pixel 4 phones. There's a fix for a bug that'd cause the camera to crash when switching to video mode on the Pixel 4, too, as well as improvements to animation for quick switch in gesture navigation on the Pixel 2, 3, 3a, and 4 models.
