Have you picked up a pair of Apple's new AirPods Pro? If so, you've got a new firmware update coming your way.
Apple today released an AirPods Pro firmware update to version 2B588 (via MacRumors). That's up from the previous firmware version 2B584, which is the firmware that the AirPods Pro shipped with last month.
There's no official changelog for this update, so it's not clear exactly what's included. It's possible that Apple is improving connectivity or squashing some small bugs that've been discovered now that the AirPods Pro have been in users' hands and ears for a couple of weeks.
Unlike iOS updates, this AirPods Pro update isn't one that you can manually install from your device's settings. The update will automatically install when you connect your AirPods Pro to your iPhone or iPad. You can check to see what firmware version your AirPods Pro are running, though, so you can know when they have finally updated. To do that, go into Settings > General > About > AirPods Pro and then look for "Firmware Version".

Normally priced at $249.00, Amazon is selling the AirPods Pro for $234.98, which is a nice little discount for a new Apple device that launched less than one month ago.
