A year and a half after its initial launch, the Verizon Up rewards program is getting a bit of a refresh.
Verizon today announced the new version of Verizon Up, with the big change focused on helping you to get rewards more often. As noted by Droid-Life, Verizon customers will now get a reward credit every month after they pay their bill rather than after every $300 spent, which should help customers without huge monthly bills earn credits more quickly.
These credits can be used for a variety of rewards. They include Device Dollars that can be put toward your next device purchase, local offers on dining spots and activities near you, and other discounts. The credits can also be used to try and claim Super Tickets, which are special experiences that are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The new Verizon Up will include more Super Ticket experiences, like tickets to the Super Bowl and stage-side access to concerts for artists like Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello.
Finally, Verizon says that the new Verizon Up will offer you more surprise rewards throughout the year, such as a free coffee from Starbucks on National Coffee Day and a free Mrs. Fields cookie on Tax Day.
These Verizon Up changes are now rolling out, so if you're a Verizon customer, be sure to check them out in the My Verizon app.
