T-Mobile's Caller Verified feature is getting better.

T-Mobile today announced that it's teaming up with Comcast to verify calls across networks. This means that calls made between T-Mobile and Comcast Xfinity Voice home phone service will be verified using the STIR and SHAKEN standards used by T-Mo's Caller Verified feature.

STIR and SHAKEN are standards that help to verify that an incoming call is really from the person it says it is. It's meant to fight caller ID spoofing, a practice in which a scammer temporarily hijacks a phone number's area code and three-digit prefix to help make their call to you appear legitimate.

In other Caller Verified news, T-Mobile confirmed that the feature is coming to more devices today. It's already available on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S9, and Galaxy S9+, and starting today it's also available on the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, Galaxy Note 8, and LG G8 ThinQ. T-Mo says that it'll bring Caller Verified to the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy A6 soon.
