Verizon is now testing a new service to help you find new gadgets that you'll enjoy.
Tech Pack is a service that'll send you a mystery box of three tech products every now and then. You'll have a 14-day trial period to use the devices, and Verizon will give you free demos and tutorials from a tech support expert. You can then keep what you like and get a discount and return what you don't like using a prepaid shipping label.
As for what kinds of devices you'll get, Verizon says that you can expect things like a Google Home Mini, a Mophie battery pack, an LG Tone Pro Bluetooth headset, a Ryze Tello mini drone, and a Canary Flex security camera.
Verizon sent emails to select customers today announcing Tech Pack. It's now taking signups, and the carrier expects to fill all of its slots by the end of the weekend.
The Tech Pack is an interesting idea, letting you actually try products before you buy them instead of just looking at a box on a store or online. It could also get expensive, though, as some tech gadgets can get kind of pricey. The Ryze Tello mini drone costs $99.99 from Verizon, and the Canary Flex sells for $179.99.
What do you think of this Tech Pack? Would you sign up for it?
