Terrible customer service

Posted on: February 25th, 2013 by Anonymous

I tried to cancel my service and was transferred several times as they tried to sell me a new phone and talk me out of leaving. Several days later my service was still active. (they wanted to give me a few days to reconsider, so now I was into the next billing cycle). I was told that I would be billed one more time, but the fees would be reversed. I was then billed twice more. They have refused to wave the first full bill, but were gracious to wave $3 of the $4 bill for the month AFTER I cancelled.

T-Mobile is a great

Posted on: February 24th, 2013 by Anonymous

I have been with T-Mobile for over 2 years now and have been very satisfied with them. Whenever I call customer service, the people have been very helpful. My Nokia 5230 died after two years of use and I had to buy a new phone. It was the on/off switch that became defective. Otherwise, the phone worked fine but I decided it was time for a new phone so I chose the Nokia Lumia 710 and so far it's been a good upgrade. I like the Nokia products and went into a T-Mobile store. Even the person at the retail store was very helpful. I was with AT&T for over 6 years and had nothing but problems so I'm very happy with T-Mobile. I've not had any problems with them at all. Highly recommend them.

T-mobile is a horrible network provider. Customer service sucks. Slow connection, there are lots of places where I dont have signal.

Posted on: February 24th, 2013 by Anonymous

1.) Customer service sucks. I specifically called to ask them twice to block international calls, but they failed to do so. So as a result I called overseas using google voice, but the phone acknowledge the direct international call instead. I ended up paying for $400 for a mistake t-mobile customer service committed. 2.) There are a lot of places/ areas where I completely don't have a signal, while my boyfriend using a different provider has 4bars. 3.) There are fees that I don't recognize what for. 4.) The monthly rate that I'm paying for, is way too expensive compared to the service of other providers. 5.) We are busy people, we don't need to waste time calling/explaining/complaning to t-mobile customer service.

NEVER BUY FROM TMOBILE KIMBERTON, PA STORE

Posted on: February 21st, 2013 by Donald Fry

We've been with the company for 7 years. I went to the Kimberton, PA location to replace a broken phone that had insurance. I was told the deductible is more than the phone is worth ($130). Bought a new phone ($212), brought it home, it doesn't charge. Took it back the SAME day and exchanged for the SAME NEW phone, brought it home, it didn't charge over night. Took it back the next day, was told they cannot refund or exchange my out right purchase. Was told to call 611 for customer service. Called, was told the store is an indirect dealer and there's no record of my purchase. They let any thief purchase a franchise and sell broken phones on their behalf for a buck, no loyalty. Moving onto another carrier once our contract is up this December 2013.

Terrible Customer Service

Posted on: February 21st, 2013 by Michael Hohl

I was told in December that I could get a better plan set up for my family in December, which started a new 24 month contract. In January I changed responsibility for my oldest son's line to him and I called T-Mobile to authorize the number to be released to him. He then called T-Mobile to get the account switched over and they told him he couldn't and set up a new account with a new number. After a month I see that I still am paying for his old number and it wasn't transferred. I call to terminate his old number and they tell me I can't and have to pay $200 to terminate even though its their fault. I told them I would leave for sure when contract is over and I couldn't believe their business decision is to lose thousands of dollars in future revenue from me over $200 termination fee which was result of their mistake. Unreal! Goodbye T-Mobile!!!

executive NAMES AND OFFICE phone numbers

Posted on: February 19th, 2013 by Jim Zarka

Hi, avoid this company. I have had nothing but headaches with tmobile, when i purchased the plan i had thirty days to cancel. So after two weeks i realize the service is really bad so they told me to up grade on notch and try that phone. I bought it, oh boy what dummy. The phone they sold me was not in stock so i got a loaner, a week or two latter my phone that i waited for came in. I did not work any better and now thanks to them i am over the period i can cancel. I figured i needed a cell phone so i kept it. To be fair it worked half the time, half the time it worked it dropped calls. Then after paying their fees i stopped told them i was not going to be extorted for service they did not provide, i stopped charging and turning on the phone. They do not understand that we their customers need to be treated fairly. When the phone is answered tell them the extension and name of the person that way you do not have to tell the receptionist why you are calling and get shunted to their POOR Customer service. Do not expect a phone call back these people should not be in business here are some numbers for you to call. main number for the following is 1 425 378 4000 extensions for jim rynolds is 3197, marcene hall 3196, juliana wim 3195, Mr todd 3199, keymicheal 3198, christin thomas 3101, for the following people the main number is 877 290 6323 @ 8031 AND VICTOR CRUZ @3418030

Undisclosed Fees

Posted on: February 16th, 2013 by Robert Roesler

we were going to switch companies and the Loyalty department offered us free phones. What they failed to disclosed was the $35/mo additional fee for internet usage. I had the phone for a few months before realizing I was being charged for internet I had never used and didn't know I had. When I asked to hear the record of our oral contract I was treated rudely and told they didn't have a phone number. This is the end of my relationship with T mobile.

Rate Plan adjustment

Posted on: February 15th, 2013 by Saundi Crandall

I have been with T-mobile for just over a year (AT&T previously). I have a Samsung Dart (entry level phone) with the 'Classic' plan. I was advised there was a lower plan available, thus I called to have that plan activated on my account. Upon calling I was advised that due to my 'cheap' phone it would cost me $100 to migrate to the lower rate plan. REALLY. I can understand a cost associated with upgrading my phone, but a CHARGE to lower my rate plan to something available to customers. This is WRONG! I then asked what the ETF (early termination fee) would be and if this is prorated. Yes it is prorated after 18 month, but my contract will be over in 24 months, it should be prorated prior to 18 months.....$200 for ETF. Which other carrier charges for an advertised/published lower rate plan....NONE. Be careful if you are looking for a new carrier.....don't go T-mobile.

fucking stingy fucks

Posted on: February 14th, 2013 by Anonymous

i wanted to purchase a phone., but then later decided to cancel the request and go in person instead. later that day i noticed they charged me anyway and now they have me waiting on bullshit excuses as to why they cant return my money right away. after they have already received their goddamn phone., i could understand a credit card, but it was a debit card. and direct money that was take out with the most simplicity. yet they are still taking their fucking sweet time in giving me the money they took from me anyway without my authorization. this is just some of the most fucked up shit you deal with when it comes to TMOBILE. fuck them!

Tmoblie...there are better alternatives

Posted on: February 13th, 2013 by Anonymous

I was with T-Mobile and its predecessors for years. Always wanted the iPhone (Tmobile didn't have) and constantly had a problem with reception and downed network. Anytime I was in a more rual area my friends on ATT and Verison always had better reception than I did. I did stay for years until my company supplied me with an iPhone and then gladly switched to Verison. The last straw and I realize it was legally their right, after 15 years of business I moved to Verison. I asked to have $200 cancelation fee removed. They choose not to do that and although I understand their desires. They definitly lost the chance at ever getting a 15 year cuustomer back. In my opinion there are other carriers with similar or less rates that offer better products and better coverage. Bill
