Recent rumors said that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will support Samsung's S Pen stylus, but now we're hearing that that won't be the only new Galaxy phone to work with the S Pen next year.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 will reportedly support the S Pen. That's according to Aju News, which was apparently told by a Samsung official that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will also include an under display selfie camera and that the phone will launch in June, which would be a few months earlier than the Z Fold 2 launched this year.
Today's report goes on to say that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will use ultra thin glass cover on its main display which should be more resistant to scratching while using the S Pen. The Z Fold 3 is also expected to include a slot for you to store the S Pen when you're not using it, just like the Note phones.
Speaking of the Note phones, it's said that Samsung is discontinuing the Galaxy Note series as it brings S Pen support to other devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy S21 Ultra.
One of the main draws of the Galaxy Note series has always been the combination of a big screen and a stylus to write on it with. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has an even bigger screen than has ever been on a Note phone — 7.6 inches when unfolded — and so using an S Pen with next year's Galaxy Z Fold 3 could be a solid experience.
