One week after the OnePlus 8T last got a new update, there's another one rolling out.
The OnePlus 8T is now receiving a new update to OxygenOS 11.0.5.6. This update makes some improvements to the fingerprint sensor, like increasing the success rate when registering a new fingerprint, and optimizes the camera's white balance and improves its image quality.
OnePlus also notes that it's improved the stability of video calls, which is probably a welcome tweak considering many people are conducting more video calls nowadays as they stay at home to fight the pandemic.

Also rolling out now is an update to the OnePlus 7T. This update will appear as OxygenOS 10.3.7 in India while folks in Europe and North America will see it as version 10.0.15.
This update optimizes the user experience of the status bar during a call to reduce mistouches and brings the November 2020 security patches, too.

As with all OnePlus updates, these 8T and 7T releases will roll out incrementally. That means that only a small number of users will get it at first, but a wider rollout will begin in the coming days.
