Ever since its launch in May, HBO Max has been missing from a couple of major streaming platforms. Today we get to cross one of those off the list.
HBO Max is coming to Amazon Fire TV tomorrow, November 17. The existing HBO app on Fire TV and Fire tablets will automatically update to become HBO Max and customers can log in using their existing HBO credentials. If you're already using HBO Max on another platform, you'll be able to access HBO Max on Fire TV using your existing provider login.
Folks who subscribe to HBO through Amazon's Prime Video Channels will be able to log in to the new HBO Max app with their Amazon credentials.
Amazon's Fire TV is one of the big streaming platforms and so it's good to see HBO Max finally launching there. Now that HBO Max is finally on Amazon Fire TV, hopefully it'll also make its way to Roku, another major streaming platform that's still missing HBO Max six months after the streaming service's debut.
