The Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G are enticing phones on their own, with the Pixel 5 offering features like a high refresh rate display while the Pixel 4a 5G has 5G at an aggressive price. But Google is also offering several special add-ons to help convince you to pull the trigger on its new devices.
Both the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G come with free trials for several premium Google services. Customers who purchase one of the new Google phones will get 3 free months of YouTube Premium, which offers ad-free viewing, video downloads, and background playback; a 3-month trial of Stadia Pro including access to free games; and 100GB of Google One cloud storage for 3 months.
Also included with the purchase of either new Pixel phone is 3 months of Google Play Pass, which gets you access to hundreds of Android games and apps without ads or in-app purchases. And Google is throwing in 150 Play Points, too, which can be used for discounts and special items in games or redeemed for Google Play Credit.
To get these all of these free trials, you must purchase and activate a Pixel 5 or Pixel 4a 5G before April 30, 2021.
For the YouTube Premium, Stadia Pro, and Google Play Pass offers, you must also be a new user. That means you cannot have been a paying member of YouTube Premium, Stadia Pro, or Google Play Pass in the past or used a free trial for any of those services.
If you're able to take advantage of all or even some of these free trials, then this is a pretty sweet deal for buying a Pixel 5 or Pixel 4a 5G. Even if you're not interested in something like Stadia Pro, getting ad-free YouTube Premium for 3 months is a nice perk, and you're sure to find some useful and fun apps in the hundreds that are available in Google Play Pass.
