After teasing the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G last month, Google has now given us a date for the phones' official reveal.
Google is hosting a "Launch Night In" event on September 30 (via The Verge). The event will kick off at 11:00 am PT / 2:00 pm ET, and Google promises that it'll tell us about its "new Chromecast, latest smart speaker and new Pixel phones."
We already know that the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 are the phones being hinted at, because Google confirmed the existence of both models when it announced the Pixel 4a. We also know that the Pixel 4a 5G will cost $499, but Google hasn't disclosed the Pixel 5's price yet.
Google also recently teased a new Nest smart speaker. The device is tall and skinny and has the same four-dot light pattern to indicate that the speaker is listening to you.
Finally, there's the "new Chromecast" that Google is hinting at. That's likely the "Sabrina" Android TV dongle that's been leaking left and right lately. Those leaks have shown that this device will be an oval-shaped dongle that'll plug directly into your TV, like a Chromecast, but will include Android TV software and come with a remote control. It's expected to cost $49.99.
