We've heard lots of rumors about the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro that are launching this fall, but a new report says that Apple has several other new products to announce before the end of 2020.
Apple is prepping four new iPhone 12 models, an updated iPad Air with an edge-to-edge display, two new Apple Watch models, a smaller HomePod, and new over-ear headphones, reports Bloomberg. All of these devices are said to be coming in the fall.
There will be four new iPhone 12 models, with two regular models that have 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch OLED displays and two Pro versions with 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch OLED displays. They'll have new designs with iPad Pro-like squared edges and the Pro models will have stainless steel sides while the non-Pro versions will use aluminum. Apple is also said to be planning a dark blue color option to replace the Midnight Green of the iPhone 11 Pro.
All four new iPhone 12 models will get a new Apple A14 processor with faster speeds and 5G support. The iPhone 12 Pro Max is expected to have a LiDAR camera like the one found on the newest iPad Pro for improved augmented reality apps.
Finally, the non-Pro iPhone 12 models will reportedly launch sooner than the Pro devices. Apple previously confirmed that its new iPhones will ship "a few weeks later" than last year's iPhone 11 models that launched in late September.
Also said to be coming this fall are two new Apple Watch models. They'll include a follow-up to the Apple Watch Series 5 plus a replacement for the Apple Watch Series 3 that's meant to compete with lower-cost fitness trackers.
A smaller HomePod is coming with a price lower than the $299 current model, but with fewer speakers inside. Apple is also said to be planning its first pair of over-ear headphones without Beats branding.
An updated Apple TV with a faster processor and upgraded remote is said to be in the works, though it may not arrive until next year. And finally, today's report confirms that Apple is working on a tracker device called AirTags meant to help you find physical items that you've misplaced.
