Samsung is planning to announce five new devices at its August 5 event, and most of them have been leaked pretty heavily so far. The Galaxy Watch 3 is the only one that's managed to avoid being completely exposed, but that's changing now.
A new hands-on video that shows the Galaxy Watch 3 has been posted to YouTube. The video, shared by TechTalkTV (via SamMobile), completely reveals the design of the Galaxy Watch 3 and shows off a bit of its software, too.
The next Galaxy Watch is said to come in 41mm and 45mm sizes, with the smaller model being the one shown in this leaked hands-on video. It's got a 1.2-inch round display while the 45mm model is tipped to have a 1.4-inch screen, and both have a rotating bezel for navigating the software, just like the original Galaxy Watch.
Today's video also spills a few more spec details for the Galaxy Watch 3. Samsung is said to be packing 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage into the new wearable, both of which are upgrades from the first Galaxy Watch. Also included with the Galaxy Watch 3 is IP68 water and dust resistance, 5ATM water resistance, and both blood pressure and heart rate sensors.
All of those features are crammed into a watch with a stainless steel case, Gorilla Glass DX, MIL-STD 810G certification.
Samsung's Tizen-based smartwatches are popular among Android users, and this Galaxy Watch 3 looks like a solid improvement over the previous models. It's got improved specs compare to the last Galaxy Watch and has a design that's closer to an analog watch than the Galaxy Watch Active 2 that launched last year.
