Camera performance is always a major focus of Samsung's flagship smartphones, and today a new video shows some of the camera capabilities will be in the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
The video starts by giving us another clear look at the Note 20 Ultra's camera bump next to the Galaxy S20 Ultra. Then Jimmy is Promo, the source of previous Note 20 Ultra leaks, shows that the upcoming Note flagship will offer up to 50x zoom.
That zoom level is actually half of the Galaxy S20 Ultra. However, the photos produced using that 100x zoom were often criticized for being too blurry, so Samsung is probably smart to give the Note 20 Ultra "just" a 50x zoom capability.
Today's leaked video shows a few of the Note 20 Ultra's pro video features. We can see that 8K video recording at 24fps will be included, just like it was on the Galaxy S20 series, as well as 4K video at 60fps. You'll have the option of recording video at a 21:9 aspect ratio, too, if you want to give your videos a more cinematic feel.
The pro video toolset will show you a histogram, too, and give you audio recording options like the ability to capture audio from all over, just the front of the phone, or just the rear.
Finally, today's leaked video shows that the Note 20 Ultra includes Google's Nearby Share file sharing. Samsung does have its own version of this called Quick Share, but some folks will probably appreciate having the Google feature as well.
The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and the regular Note 20 will both be announced by Samsung on August 5.
