We're now less than one week away from the full reveal of the OnePlus Nord, but before then, OnePlus has confirmed a few more spec details of its new handset.
As part of its focus on a smooth experience, OnePlus has given the Nord a 90Hz refresh rate display. That's the same refresh rate as the high-end OnePlus 8 that launched earlier this year.
The OnePlus Nord also features a 180Hz touch sampling rate. To compare, last year's flagship OnePlus 7 Pro had a touch sampling rate of 135Hz. Touch sampling rate measures how fast the screen responds to your touch, which means things like mobile gaming will benefit from the Nord's higher touch sampling rate.
The internals of the OnePlus Nord will include a Snapdragon 765G processor and up to 12GB of RAM.
Rounding things out is some info on the Nord's cameras. On the back of the OnePlus Nord is a quad camera array that includes a main 48MP camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, an 8MP ultra wide angle cam, a 5MP depth sensor, and a macro camera for close-up shots. Meanwhile, the dual front camera setup includes a 32MP selfie camera and another ultra wide angle cam with 105-degree field of view.
OnePlus has previously said that the Nord will come in at a price below $500. It'll launch in Europe and India, but OnePlus has said that it'll offer a "highly limited beta program" for folks in North America who really want a Nord of their own.
