Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite images and specs revealed in new leak

We haven't heard much about the Galaxy S6 Lite ever since a single image of it leaked out last month, but today that's changing in a big way.

Several new official-looking renders of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite leaked out today along with a full spec list, too. The folks at WinFuture have shared this leak, showing a tablet that's true to its name and does look like a Galaxy Tab S6, but isn't quite as high-end.

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is said to have a 10.4-inch 2000x1200 LCD screen, which is just a smidge smaller than the Tab S6's 10.5-inch Super AMOLED screen. The Tab S6 Lite lacks a spot on its backside where an S Pen can attach magnetically and charge wirelessly like the Tab S6 has, and instead of a dual rear camera setup, the Tab S6 Lite is said to have a single 8MP cam.

Also rumored to be included with the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is an octa-core Exynos 9611 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of built-in storage. A microSD slot will let you add more storage if you need it.

Rounding out this spec list is a 7040mAh battery, a USB-C port for charging, NFC, and Android 10.

There's still no word on when Samsung might launch the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, but it'll reportedly be available in a 4G LTE model whenever it does arrive.

Launched last August, the Galaxy Tab S6 is a flagship-tier tablet with specs to match, like a Snapdragon 855 processor and up to 8GB of RAM. This Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is a more affordable alternative to the regular Tab S6, and it could be a nice option for folks who are interested in a new Android tablet but want something a bit larger than that new Galaxy Tab A 8.4 that Samsung just announced.
