Samsung recently announced that it's releasing an update to bring Galaxy S20 features to the S10 and Note 10, but that's not the only big update coming from the company this week.
The Galaxy Fold has started getting its Android 10 update. According to SamMobile, it's currently rolling out to the 4G version of the Galaxy Fold in France as version F900FXXU3BTCD, but we should begin seeing the update rolling out soon in other parts of the globe, too.
Included in this update is Samsung's One UI 2.1 and the March 1, 2020 Android security patches. It's also likely packing many of the same features we saw the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 receive when they were updated to Android 10, including improved gestures, a better dark mode, clearer app icons and system colors, and Digital Wellbeing improvements like Focus Mode.
Samsung has also confirmed to SamMobile that it plans to bring many of the Galaxy S20's features to the Galaxy Fold, though they're not included in this update. Those features include a Pro Video mode that'll let you tweak settings like ISO and shutter speed, Music Share, and Night Hyperlapse for better night time photography.
The Galaxy Fold has taken a bit longer to get its Android 10 update than many of its Galaxy siblings, which might be frustrating to folks who plunked down nearly $2,000 for the foldable phone. Now that the update has finally begun rolling out, hopefully we'll see it expand to more parts of the globe soon and that update with more S20 features won't be far behind.
