The evidence that new iPad Pro models are coming soon continues to mount.
Apple's China website appears to have leaked the existence of four new iPad Pro models. The folks at iPhone in Canada spotted an iPad user manual on the Apple website in China that mentioned four iPad Pro versions with new model numbers: A2228, A2231, A2229, and A2233. Those references have since been deleted.
These devices are also described as having 11-inch and 12.9-inch displays and both Wi-Fi and cellular configurations, just like the current gen iPad Pro models.
What's more, that iPad Pro with the model number A2229 was spotted in the Eurasian Economic Commission database this week (via MacRumors).
Previous rumors have said that these new iPad Pro models will have a design similar to the current models, complete with flat sides, quad speakers, and a USB-C port. One of the big upgrades that the 2020 versions of the iPad Pro are expected to get is a triple rear camera setup that could be similar to the iPhone 11 Pro, plus possibly a Time of Flight sensor for augmented reality.
Apple will also likely upgrade the processor inside its new iPad Pro models. The existing iPad Pro models were announced in 2018 with an A12X Bionic chipset, which is a special version of the processor found in the iPhone XS. The new 2020 iPad Pro tablets could have a special version of the A13 Bionic processor found inside the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro.
