OnePlus is rumored to be prepping new phones that could be announced as soon as next month, but that's not the only thing the company is cooking up.
OnePlus has teased that it's "refreshing its brand identity". In two days on March 18th, OnePlus will unveil its new brand visual identity.
That's about all that OnePlus has said about its new brand identity, but thanks to China's National Trademark Office, we may already know what the new-look OnePlus looks like. Below is a trademark that OnePlus applied for last year (via ITHome).
This updated OnePlus logo may not look hugely different from the existing logo, but there are definitely a few changes. The "1" has been tweaked a bit, including losing the flat part at the bottom of the numeral, and the word "OnePlus" is now all the same thickness.
The top part of the "1" in OnePlus's teaser image at the top of this post appears to line up with the "1" we seen in the new logo from China's National Trademark Office, so this appears that this is the new visual identity that OnePlus will officially show off later this week. Of course, the company will surely have more to say about the new logo and what it means when it makes that announcement, so stay tuned for that.
