Two months after Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 865, the first phone packing the flagship processor has been revealed.
The ZTE Axon 10s Pro is now official, and it includes an octa-core Snapdragon 865 processor. Qualcomm said previously that the SD865 offers up to 25% improved performance over the Snapdragon 855 and the Adreno 650 GPU included in the SD865 offers 25% better performance, too.
That's not the only flagship feature that ZTE has crammed into its Axon 10s Pro. There's 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM included, too, along with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture. There's a 20MP wide angle cam with 125-degree field of view, too, and an 8MP telephoto cam.
Around front ZTE has included a 20MP selfie cam with beautification and AI portrait mode features. That selfie camera lives inside a waterdrop notch at the top of the Axon 10s Pro's 6.47-inch AMOLED screen that has curved edges and a 92% screen-to-body ratio. The screen also boasts an in-display fingerprint sesnro.
Rounding out the ZTE Axon 10s Pro's spec list are dual speakers, Wi-Fi 6, 5G support, a 4000mAh battery, and Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ support.
The Axon 10s Pro looks like a pretty well-specced device, and the fact that it's the first phone announced with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 is sure to get it some extra attention from folks who need the latest and greatest hardware. The bad news is that ZTE hasn't said when the Axon 10s Pro will launch or how much it'll cost when it does, so it's unclear when we'll get to take the phone and its SD865 for a spin.
