First the Galaxy S11 appeared in renders, then the Galaxy S11e showed its face, too. Now a device that may be the Galaxy S11+ has leaked out as well.
New renders claim to show the Galaxy S11+ with a massive rear camera housing. Shared by CashKaro and OnLeaks, these renders are not officially made by Samsung but are based on CAD drawings of the devices.
Around back we can see a very large rear camera housing that's said to hold five cameras. Rumors have said that those cameras could include a 108MP sensor and a 5x optical zoom snapper. Also rumored to be included is a laser autofocus module. An ultra wide angle camera was included with the S10+, and so it's likely that we'll see one on the S11+, too. Another possible include us a Time of Flight (ToF) sensor to help gather depth info.
The front of this Galaxy S11+ is expected to include a curved edge display that could measure 6.9 inches in size. Just like on the S11 and S11e, the S11+ is expected to have a centered hole-punch at the top of its screen where the front-facing camera will live.
On the left side of the phone are its volume and power buttons and on the bottom is a USB-C port. Like the other S11 models, there's no 3.5mm headphone jack to be found on this S11+. The dimensions of the Galaxy S11+ are said to be 166.9 x 76 x 8.8mm. To compare, the Galaxy S10+ is 157.6 x 74.1 x 7.8mm.
Samsung is expected to officially introduce its new Galaxy S11 series phones in mid to late February. With five cameras and a large rear housing, we're looking forward to seeing what the S11+'s array of rear cameras is capable of.
