Early this year, there have been reports that Motorola is reinventing its best-selling Motorola Razr phone and calling it the Razr 2019. Ever since then, there has not been any official details released to the public. This changes today with the first set of renders available online.
The renders are shared by credible tipster, Evan Blass via his Twitter account. Since Motorola is reportedly unveiling the phone on November 13th, these render images seem to be part of the promotional ad of the device. But it does give us a pretty telling picture of what this iconic device will look like when it gets launched.
The photo shows the iconic hinge mechanism that Motorola has proudly talked about in past leaks. We can also see the protruding bottom part of the device, where a supposed fingerprint scanner button can be seen. The main screen of the device can also be seen in the render.
There is another photo that shows the Razr 2019 in its closed position. From here, it reminds us of the original Razr V3 device that was launched in 2004.
Right now, that’s all the information we have on the Razr 2019. Past rumors indicate that Motorola will be adding in a 6.2-inch OLED main display with a secondary screen outside that has a 600x800 resolution. The device is also said to run on Snapdragon 710 with either 4 or 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. Its battery is also believed to be 2,730mAh capacity.
As for its pricing, there are rumors that Motorola will price this iconic phone at $1,500. But we’ll know for certain once it is finally unveiled on November 13th.
