We've seen some major Google apps get updated to support dark mode in Android 10 lately, including Gmail and the Play Store. One notable app still missing a dark theme is Google Maps, but that could change soon.
Google has teased a dark mode for Google Maps on Android. Over on the official Android account on Instagram, Google posted a video showing the dark theme for several of apps, including Instagram and Focus Mode, and right in the middle video is Google Maps.
Unfortunately, Google doesn't say when this dark theme for Google Maps will actually roll out to users. Because it's showing the Google Maps dark theme in this Instagram post, though, we'd expect that the feature is in development and possibly even getting close to being released to the public.
