Today's iOS 13.2 beta includes Deep Fusion, a new Apple feature that we're getting to try out for the first time, but that's not the only new thing that the beta has revealed.
An image included with the iOS 13.2 beta may have revealed Apple's next pair of AirPods. Spotted by MacRumors, the icon shows a pair of earbuds that are different than the current model, sporting a larger upper portion and rubber tips that aren't included with the existing AirPods.
What's more, a photo was leaked by 52audio last month that claimed to show Apple's next AirPods, and they line up with the icon included in iOS 13.2.
Rumors have suggested that Apple is working on a new pair of AirPods with noise cancellation and an "all-new design". That lines up with the leaked AirPods that we're seeing today, which would likely use rubber tips to improve its noise cancellation. These new AirPods would be a big upgrade over the existing model that added "Hey Siri" support and wireless charging, and the inclusion of noise cancellation could be the feature that convinces some folks to get their first pair of AirPods.
Rumors have said that Apple could announce its new AirPods either later this year or early next year.
