Google's got lots of new products coming soon, including the Pixel 4, Nest Mini, and Pixelbook Go, and now we can add another device to that list.
Google is planning to launch Pixel Buds 2 wireless earbuds soon. That's according to a report from 9to5Google, which adds that Google's October 15 event is likely where the new Pixel Buds will make their official debut.
The Pixel Buds were announced at Google's fall hardware event in 2017 and gained some new features in mid-2018, like a triple-tap that'd let you quickly turn the 'buds on and off and the ability to easily switch your Pixel Buds between your phone, computer, or other device you'd previously paired with. There were no new Pixel Buds in 2018, but the original model did get another update to reduce audio lag.
It's not known exactly what improvements Google might be making to the Pixel Buds 2, but with the rise in popularity of truly wireless earbuds like Apple's AirPods and Samsung's Galaxy Buds, perhaps Google could ditch the wire with the Pixel Buds 2.
What changes would you like to see Google make with the Pixel Buds 2?
