Android 10 brings with it lots of new features and other tweaks, and today Google confirmed another change that it's making with Android 10.
YouTube Music will now come preinstalled on new Android 10 devices, replacing Google Play Music. The YouTube Music app will also come preloaded on new Android 9 Pie devices, too.
Folks who prefer Google Play Music will still be able to download that app onto their new Android device by visiting the Play Store.
Google has said in the past that it's planning to move Google Play Music users over to YouTube Music, and this move is the latest step in Google's effort to make YouTube Music it's main music streaming app. With YouTube Music coming preinstalled on Android 10, new subscribers will sign up for that instead of Google Play Music.
