iOS 13 beta 7 and watchOS 6 beta 7 updates now available to developers

One week after releasing iOS 13 beta 6, Apple has another beta release ready to go.

iOS 13 beta 7 is now available to registered developers. If that's you, then you can download the update over the air on your iOS device or you can grab it from Apple's Developer Center on the web.

Apple has said that iOS 13 will launch to the public this fall. While we don't yet have an official release date, Apple has previously launched major iOS updates in mid-September. That means that we could be around a month away from the public launch of iOS 13.

The update to iOS 13 is a big one, bringing new features like a system-wide Dark Mode, updated versions of Apple Maps and CarPlay, and an improved volume UI that doesn't block the center of your screen. Apple is also updating its keyboard to offer swipe input and it's giving the Photos app an improved editing interface.

Other notable improvements coming with iOS 13 include Memoji improvements like makeup and AirPods, Memoji stickets, an improved Share Sheet, a low data mode, and Wi-Fi selection in Control Center.

Also coming is iPadOS. This update includes all of the improvements of iOS 13 and adds some iPad-specific goodies on top, like an improved home screen that lets you fit more app icons and offers the ability to always see your Today View widgets. Also included is lower latency for the Apple Pencil, support for USB drives and SD cards, and even mouse support.

Apple released watchOS 6 beta 7 to developers today, too. This update includes a standalone App Store, meaning you'll be able to install apps directly on your Apple Watch. The update also brings new watch faces, new complications, and new apps like Audiobooks, Voice Memos, and Calculator.

watchOS 6 is also slated to launch to the public this fall.
